ABWA Oceanside Online Excel Training

Excel Formulas, Functions, and Formatting Tips and Tricks
Saturday, October 3, 2020
Via Zoom

1:00 – 3:00 pm EDT
Instructors:  Cindy Schmitt and Andrea Ellis

Join us as we explore the power of Microsoft Excel!  In each quarterly session, the Oceanside Charter Chapter will provide insightful and useful Excel topics.  We encourage even the experienced user to join us as we share “tips and tricks” to leverage the power of Excel.

October 3 Session objectives include:
  • Learn the power of formulas, functions and conditional formatting within Microsoft Excel.
  • With formulas, let Excel do the math for you!  When you change one number, Excel updates all of the math without additional steps.
  • For more complicated math problems, functions are available so that you do not have to remember the math formula.
  • Learn how through conditional formatting you can use Excel to change the appearance of cells on the basis of conditions that you specify.

All topics are taught in the order of the modules in the optional textbook, Microsoft Office 365 & Excel 2016: Comprehensive, (Shelly Cashman) ISBN:9781305870710.  Textbook can be purchased from various online retailers.

Cost:
  • Non-ABWA Member: $40/session
  • Non-ABWA Member Early Bird Registration until 9/1/20:$32/session or $120 for a package of 4 sessions (10/3/20, 11/7/20, 1/30/21 and 4/24/21)
  • ABWA Member:$25/session
  • ABWA Member Early Bird Registration until 9/1/20:$20/session or $70 for a package of 4 sessions (10/3/20, 11/7/20, 1/30/21 and 4/24/21)

Payments are non-refundable. Each 2-hour workshop session includes email and phone support for 30 days.

Green Gables Open House

Please visit this enchanting Queen Anne style architecture home, one of just a few remaining in South Brevard.
Why is saving Green Gables so Important?  The acquisition and restoration of Green Gables is not just about preserving an old house from the wrecking ball. It is so much more. Green Gables is the historic home of the Wells family, one of the generous benefactors who played a key role in the development of early Melbourne. Their vision and their generosity gifted the area with Wells Park and the first auditorium, the first library, establishing the first high school, and many more things in the community, all of which have been enjoyed by several generations.
