American Sign Language (Part 2)- Palm Bay High-Thursdays-$48

*This class is a continuation from ASL Part 1.

Learn American Sign Language in a fun and interactive setting! American Sign Language (ASL) is a complete, natural language that has the same linguistic properties as spoken languages, with grammar that differs from English. ASL is expressed by movements of the hands and face. It is the primary language of many North Americans who are deaf and hard of hearing and is used by many hearing people as well.

* You will need to wear a clear face shield in this class: masks will not work while learning ASL since masks hide your facial expressions.

Green Gables Open House

The Wells family has provided our community with one final legacy -  the homestead where this remarkable family lived and gave so generously to the Melbourne community.

We are hopeful the legacy can continue with your support financially and/or as a volunteer as we seek donations and available grants to rehabilitate and restore the house to its original stature.

This will allow this treasure to continue to be a thriving center, a living educational experience, and a vibrant green space for generations to enjoy. Together we can restore Green Gables and save history, but time is of the essence. Please visit our website at greengables.org and watch our 34 minute documentary entitled “Forgotten Enchantress”.
