Description:
The ParaPro Assessmentmeasures the skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math possessed by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals/instructional assistants. It also measures their ability to apply those skills and knowledge when assisting in classroom instruction. It was designed to satisfy the requirements of the federally legislated No Child Left Behind Act.
*This class section will cover reading and writing preparation for the ParaPro Assessment.
*The math class section will be offered after this section.

*Class will meet each Monday and Wednesday from 6-8pm.
*This class is for those who want to be an IA (Instructional Assistant) in the classroom.
*If you do not have a 2 year degree, you will need to pass the ParaPro Assessment to work as an IA.
