Guided Meditation

How it works: Participants lay down in a comfortable position on their backs, or seated in a chair if necessary, and are guided through the practice by Danielle.  The use of unique, personalized intentions allows participants to change their relationship to pain, insomnia and other stressors in their lives.  All one needs to do is listen - it can be done in any state of health!

What it is: A sleep-based relaxation technique that uses a series of breath, body and awareness techniques to allow for effortless disengagement from the thinking mind. This releases the healing potential of the body, as in sleep, to restore energy and health. Mindfulness relaxation brings relief to chronic pain and by  activating the parasympathetic nervous system, the stress response of the sympathetic nervous system disengages.
