Brevard PALS stands for Providing Autism Links and Supports. PALS is a non-profit organization affiliated with CARD, The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, in Orlando. We have been active in Brevard County since 2008.
Our mission is to bring medical professionals, educators, community organizations and parents together to identify the needs of families and individuals dealing with Autism in Brevard County. Our membership includes representatives from Pediatrics in Brevard, the Brevard County School System, The Scott Center for Autism, C.A.R.D., Space Coast Early Intervention Center, Family Liaison Project, Angels Bridging Gaps, SOAK and Child and Family Consultants.
All proceeds from the events sponsored by Brevard PALS stay in Brevard County. In the past 7 years, Brevard PALS has provided free educational seminars and created a website directory of services for Autism at www.brevardautism.com. We are getting ready to host the 7th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Autism Awareness on February 20, 2016 on the F.I.T. Campus. This Spring Break marks the 3rd Annual Brevard Autism Adventure Camp and we have sponsored public forums to identify and find practical solutions to everyday problems experienced by families living with Autism.
In the Summer of 2016, Brevard PALS is expanding our Camp 2 Can to 7 weeks for children and adolescents with Autism. All of our camps and educational events are subsidized by money received through fund raising and grants. All funds raised by Brevard PALS benefits families in Brevard County.
Brevard PALS wants to thank you for your generous support of our events and your support of our endeavor to bring together the resources of our Brevard community to address the needs of families and individuals with Autism in Brevard County.
